MONOLITH coals: it is the best quality coal, 100% natural product, without chemicals. Made entirely from FSC certified hardwoods such as beech, oak, ash and hornbeam. Our charcoal is produced in a modern environmentally friendly facility using controlled retort processing. This method extracts the tar and acid, producing a highly efficient, long-lasting charcoal with an energy value of 31,700 kJ/kg, reaching high temperatures when needed. The pieces of coal are between 4 and 12 cm in size, allowing for optimal air flow inside the firebox / coal chimney. They ignite very quickly and reach temperatures of 200 – 250 degrees Celsius within 10 – 15 minutes.
