Ceramic pot Amfora Tandoors should not be exposed to abrupt temperature fluctuations: it can be destroyed as a result of their impact. Such dishes are suitable for cooking meat, fish, and vegetables. The cooking technology is simple: put the food and close the lid tightly if included – after that, the dish can be safely inserted in the tandoor. Add only hot water to an already warmed dish.
It is critical to avoid contact of the ceramics with open fire: wait until the coals are completely burnt out. When the dish is ready, do not remove it from the tandoor immediately. Take the lid off and allow the ceramics to cool gradually for a few minutes. Do not place ceramic products on cold surfaces. Otherwise, if these rules are not followed, ceramics can crack.
Care:
- ceramic dishes have to be splashed with hot water before pouring boiling water into them;
- wash in warm water adding a little detergent. Use a non-rigid brush for washing the dishes; avoid scraping the dishes with knives or other sharp objects. Then leave the item to dry without covering or wiping it. Do not use dishwashers to wash stoneware.
