Crafted from durable stainless steel, this smoker box replaces the sear plates above a lit burner. To use, simply remove the cooking grids and the sear plate directly above a burner, then place the smoker box on the sear plate supports. Fill the high-capacity box with your favorite wood chips or chunks, close the lid, and replace the cooking grids. Set the burner to low, and watch as the chips or chunks begin to smolder and produce smoke, infusing your food with a delicious smoky flavor. For the best results, cook your food on the barbecue for at least 20 minutes. This method is perfect for roasts, reverse searing, and rotisserie-style cooking. Once you're done cooking, allow the barbecue to cool completely before removing the smoker box and cooking grids.
