The Carl Schmidt Sohn KONSTANZ Chef Knife 20 cm is a kitchen knife made of 67 layers of Japanese steel with a VG-10 core, designed for everyday slicing, chopping and mincing.
Brief
KONSTANZ Chef Knife is a universal chef’s knife with a 20 cm blade, ice-hardening and a hardness of HRC 60 ± 2. It combines precise cutting, durability and the elegant look of layered steel.
Functionality
The chef’s knife is suitable for most kitchen tasks: cutting vegetables, meat, fish, poultry, herbs and other ingredients. The 20 cm blade is convenient for medium and large ingredients.
Materials
The blade is made of 67 layers of Japanese steel with a VG-10 core. The handle is made of natural wood and has an ergonomic shape.
Care
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended. Dry the knife immediately after washing. Dishwasher use is not recommended, especially to preserve the blade sharpness, layered steel structure and the appearance of the wooden handle.
Ergonomics
The ergonomic wooden handle feels comfortable in the hand and provides good control while cutting. The 20 cm blade makes the knife practical for everyday kitchen use.
