Description
The Carl Schmidt Sohn KONSTANZ Bread Knife 18 cm is a kitchen knife made of 67 layers of Japanese steel with a VG-10 core, designed for clean slicing of bread, baguettes, rolls and other baked goods.

KONSTANZ Bread Knife features an 18 cm blade, ice-hardening and a hardness of HRC 60 ± 2. It combines the strength of layered steel, precise cutting and an elegant wooden handle.
Functionality
The knife is designed for slicing bread and baked goods. The blade helps cut through crust and soft crumb without excessive pressure, keeping slices neat and preventing the product from being crushed.
Materials
The blade is made of 67 layers of Japanese steel with a VG-10 core. The handle is made of natural wood and has an ergonomic shape.
Care
Hand washing with a soft sponge is recommended. Dry the knife immediately after washing. Dishwasher use is not recommended, especially to preserve the blade sharpness, layered steel structure and the appearance of the wooden handle.
Ergonomics
